Range - Organic clothes and sustainable toys and products for baby and children
In the webshop, you will find organic clothing and accessories for babies and children aged 0-6 years, designed and manufactured on a small scale in my studio in Segersäng. The assortment consists of handmade children's clothes made from organic and recycled materials, created with a focus on comfort, function, and sustainability.
In addition to clothing, By Lelou also offers carefully selected sustainable toys and products for babies and children, from brands that share the same values regarding environment, quality, and safety.
Care for the environment and children's well-being permeates the entire range. Therefore, I strive to create organic children's clothing and products that are free from harmful chemicals and toxins, last over time, and are gentle on both children's skin and our planet.
Why organic & sustainable?
For me, the founder of By Lelou, the choice of organic and sustainable materials is self-evident. Children's skin is sensitive, and I want to create clothes and products that feel safe to use and are free from unnecessary chemicals and toxins.
Through small-scale production and conscious material choices, I want to contribute to a more sustainable way of consuming children's clothes, where quality, care, and longevity take precedence over disposability.

My background
I started By Lelou in 2009 after graduating from Tillskärarakademin in Gothenburg, where I studied pattern cutting and garment making. With a desire to work with children's clothing and sustainability, the dream of a company where quality, function, and care are central grew. A dream that I have now had the privilege of living for almost 15 years.
My ambition is to create unique, playful, and gentle clothes for babies and children, where each garment is sustainably thought through from material selection to the finished product.
Most collections are sewn in small editions, sometimes only one per size. This makes each garment personal and unique and reminds us of the value of small-scale and conscious production.
Studio and Warehouse Shop in Nynäshamn
In my studio in Segersäng, I have space for a shop, studio, and warehouse – all under one roof. Here, I create all garments from scratch; everything from designing and drawing patterns to cutting out the garments, printing the motifs, and finally sewing them together.
